ADOPTABLE BUNNIES!

Honey’s Bunnies believes and advocates for indoor cage free living, with as much room to roam as possible. A bunny proofed room of their own or an x-pen is great for containing your bunny while you are not home to supervise, but ideally a bunny should be part of the family just like a dog or cat. Rabbits are extremely sociable animals, and they get lonely and bored when they are confined to a cage. To learn more about proper house bunny care, visit the House Rabbit Society website.

Contact Amy Honey to book an appointment to meet a bunny! All of Honey’s Bunnies are spayed or neutered, litter box trained and receive all medical care needed prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $40 per bunny.

All potential adoptions are done on a person to person basis, there is no pre-adoption form to fill out. If the adoption is a match an adoption agreement must be signed, with the option to agree to a trial adoption.

***adoption pending*** Thumpie is a sweet and very friendly boy. He is age unknown, but I think he's on the younger side. He was found roaming a city street in October 2018 and thankfully picked up by a caring lady who brought him home. He lived happily with her and her house cat for quite some time, and had free roam of the house with a large dog crate to retire to at night or while she wasn't home. He is a well adjusted rabbit, fully litter trained and recently neutered. Sadly his rescuer couldn't keep him, so Thumpie is now looking for his new forever home. He loves cats! You'll fall in love with this guy!

Primo (left) and Teetoo (right) are a brother/sister bonded pair. They are just over 1 year old, fixed, litter trained and very in love! These are big buns, and they are full of goofy tricks including a fondness for flopping, binkying and generally having lots of fun! These two will have to be adopted together as they would be sad to be separated.

***adoption pending*** Say hello to Hollie! Hollie is an 11 month old spayed female. She was in a great home but sadly the landlord did not allow pets so she wound up at Honey’s Bunnies. She is litter trained and very healthy. She can be a bit shy, but I know with the right home she will fit right in! PS - She loves going for walks on her harness!

Say hello to Zeke! Zeke is just a young thing who was found wandering at large earlier this summer. He is roughly 4 months old and has recently been neutered. He has been in the care of Honey’s Bunnies since he was a about three weeks old, and is fairly well socialized but could really use a good interactive home asap so that he can become even more socialized. He is very active and loves to play, binky and hop when he is in our outdoor play-time unit. He is working on his litter training… he’s almost there! If you’d like to give a sweet young bun a chance, Zeke is your man!

Say hello to Arnold! Arnold is three years old, neutered and fully litter trained. He is a little bit more shy but he comes around quickly. He's got a sweet and gentle personality. He is a tad overweight and will need to be on a strict diet. He had a rough past (I can fill you in on this), so he needs a patient and understanding new forever home. You'll fall in love with this sweet boy!

Say hello to Phoebe! Phoebe is an older girl, and was abandoned by her previous family :( Luckily she found her way to Honey’s Bunnies and is now just waiting for a new start in life. She has one small medical issue but so far it is not of major concern… one of her eyes has a cataract with mild glaucoma. It appears as a “cloudy” eye, and her vision is affected by this. Her vet says she should be fine unless anything changes, so she would need to be monitored carefully. She has recently been spayed and is working on her litter training. She’s age unknown, but I am estimating between 4-6. Phoebe is a bit shy, but I’m sure she’ll come around once she finds a trustworthy and safe home.

ChiChi and Briar are a brother/sister bonded pair and they are so sweet! They were born on March 2 , 2018 so they are less than one year old. Both have had their surgery and they are very tidy and always use their litter box! They love to run around and binky, but they’re also really into just lounging around. They will need to be adopted together as they are best friends forever!
